After more than two months since the last stable release, AsusWrt-Merlin has announced the availability of its new firmware version build, namely 380.58.0, which includes several changes and new features targeted at some of ASUS’ routers.

Specifically speaking, the present version is compatible with ASUS’ RT-N66 (R, W, U B1), RT-AC56 (S, R, U), RT-AC66 (R, U, W), RT-AC68 (P, R, U, W), and RT-AC87 (U, R) models. Also, RT-AC88U, RT-AC3100, RT-AC3200, and RT-AC5300 devices are also supported.

In terms of changes, the 380.58.0 update includes the same fixes and new features as the previous AsusWrt-Merlin 380.58 Beta 1 Firmware, only this one is a stable release and shouldn’t experience any issues.

As for installation, the process is identical to any other firmware upgrade: save and extract the downloadable file, log into your router’s web user interface, and click on your device’s currently installed firmware version.

Before moving forward, take into account that after applying the update, you will need to perform a factory reset and manually configure your router. Thus, make sure to back up all changed settings prior to initiating the installation.

If all is OK, from the firmware update section, click “Browse,” navigate and select the newly extracted .trx file, choose “Upload,” and wait for your router to do its job.

With this in mind, download AsusWrt-Merlin Router Firmware 380.58.0 for your model, apply it, and constantly check our website to be informed when a newer version is available for download.
