Leshcat, or Aliaksei Dzenisevich, the young Linux IT administrator from Belarus, whom we've talked about in an earlier post, has released a second version of his own Catalyst 13.3 Beta 3 driver.

This update packs the same driver versions as its predecessor, it but has a slightly more elaborated changelog. Therefore, the “Minor changelog,” as entitled by Leshcat, says that this release adds a Sony crash patch and proper FeatureTestControl values.

There are numerous notes in bold and red letters advising you to remove previous DSE dependent UnifL driver as well as DSE itself. Leschcat's manual should come in handy.

Users that have tried this release stumble upon various installation issues, starting from the annoying BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) to hardware recognition errors in Device Manager.

Below is the link to the download. Bear in mind, though, that this is nowhere near an official release and using this driver may cause damage to your system. Proceed with caution. Softpedia cannot be held responsible for eventual crashes of your devices.
