NVIDIA SHIELD Portable Gaming Console Firmware 110

This update contains button functionality fixes and security improvements, including:

- Updates SHIELD security to the latest Android Security Bulletins
- Resolves instances of the audio volume fluctuating during video playback
- Resolves instances of the ‘Optimizing apps’ message appearing in error
- Fixes a bug that causes the LED brightness level to reset after a system restart
- Fixes a bug that could result in SHIELD becoming unresponsive after lid close and reopen

Note:

- This is the stock recovery OS for Software Update 110 (OTA 6.2) of the NVIDIA SHIELD Portable. Flash this image to your device to return the device to its stock state.
- Like Update 103 & 106, this image is based on Android 5.1 MR1 ("Lollipop"). This image does not include certain older features not compatible with Android Lollipop such as: Sonic 4 Episode II, Expendable: Rearmed, the default Android Browser, and Miracast. To re-enable those apps and features, you can revert to the Update 101 (which runs Android 4.4 "KitKat").
- Download the ZIP file, unzip, and follow the instructions. The Windows USB drivers for fastboot and ADB are available separately to download.
