Amazon Kindle Fire 2nd Generation Firmware 10.4.9

This software update includes general software improvements and the following new feature enhancements:

- Music: Amazon Prime Music is now available on Kindle Fire HD 2nd Generation 
- E-mail: The e-mail app on Kindle Fire has been updated with a streamlined look and feel. The refresh option has been moved to the email inbox view. Swipe down from the top edge of your email inbox to begin syncing your emails with the email server.

Note:

- If you use the e-mail app for Gmail on your Kindle Fire, you will need to re-authorize your account.
- To do this, swipe in from the left edge of the screen and tap Settings. Tap the Gmail account name, and then scroll to the bottom and tap Delete, and then Delete Account.
- To re-add your Gmail account, tap Settings, and then tap Add Account. Enter your Gmail address, tap Next, and then enter your Gmail password. The e-mail app will authorize your account on your device with Gmail.
