This download only includes the printer and scanner (WIA and/or TWAIN) drivers, optimized for USB or Parallel interface. Please note that the availability of these interfaces depends on the model number of your machine and the operating system you are using.
Notes before downloading:
- The instructions may vary depending on the version of your operating system.
- You must be logged on as an Administrator.
- Make a temporary folder on your HDD [hard disk drive] as the location to save the downloaded self-extracting file. e.g. C:\brodnt
- Disconnect your Brother machine from your computer if you already connected an interface cable.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
