New features and enhancements:

ReadyDATA OS 1.4.3 introduces support for ReadyRECOVER
- ReadyRECOVER is a complete backup and recovery appliance.
- With ReadyRECOVER, full backups are instantly created every 15 minutes and can independently be used to quickly and reliably restore files or systems to any platform, physical or virtual.

Share and LUN properties, such as compression and deduplication, are now automatically synchronized
- Synchronization of properties ensures similar behavior at source and destination. For example, when data reduction properties, like compression and deduplication, are enabled on the source, they will automatically be enabled on the destination so that each system has similar capacity usage.
- For shares and LUNs with high snapshot counts, similar snapshots are now displayed in clusters for improved browsing of snapshot history

Major bug fixes:
- In July 2014, the ReadyDATA Replicate Portal experienced an outage that caused issues with accessibility to the portal and affected local operations on ReadyDATA units. NETGEAR takes system outages seriously and has migrated the ReadyDATA Replicate portal to another provider to improve uptime. Additionally, safeguards have been added to ReadyDATA OS 1.4.3 to prevent any future outages from affecting local operations, such as status alerting.
- A display issue that prevented access to local replication jobs on systems with more than 20 jobs has been fixed
- Default gateway selection per VNIC is now preserved after a reboot and default gateway addresses ending in .0 are now supported
- An issue that caused the snapshot timeline to display inaccurate results on shares with high snapshot counts has been resolved

Deployment Notes / Limitations:

For all ReadyDATA models:
- It is necessary to disable VAAI when using vSphere4 or vSphere5 with iSCSI.
- All system settings are volatile until the first volume is created.
- Deduplication for thick LUNs has been removed as capacity savings are not realized on the ReadyDATA device or by the host.

For ReadyDATA 516:
- eSATA ports are disabled and capacity expansion beyond six bays is not supported.
- The unit's IP Address will not be displayed on the LCD when in Technical Support mode.
- A USB flash recovery tool is not currently available
