General Update Notes:
- On AMD systems, the AMD SATA driver may not allow the update process. Please revert to the Microsoft native SATA/AHCI driver to update the firmware.
- The Intel Rapid Storage Technology version 10 driver may not allow the SSD to be detected by the ssdupdate.exe program. Please revert to RST 9.6 or the native Microsoft AHCI driver.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
