To Upgrade:
- Download and unzip the new file from NETGEAR. The filename after unzipping is DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.4_0.0.4.img
- Using a web browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenance click Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade file DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.4_0.0.4.img.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
