Fixes:
- Fixed a problem where a firmware upgrade from 4.01.28 to 4.01.37 would change the remote management defaults settings.
- Fixed a problem where the wireless station access list would erroneously list nonsensical information.
- Fixed a problem where closing the closing the AOL/MSN Instant Messaging ports on the Firewall Rules page could block an FTP session with an FTP server on the LAN side.
- Fixed a problem with WEP that could cause authentication to fail.

To Upgrade:
- To reach the Upgrade menu, click Router Upgrade from the Maintenance section. To upload new firmware
- Download and unzip the new file from NETGEAR. The filename after unzipping is DG834BV3_V4.01.40.img
- Using a browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenanceclick Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade file DG834BV3_V4.01.40.img.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
