Unfortunately, Linksys has removed the present firmware from its servers, therefore making the download impossible. However, you can still get a newer software version for the same device, namely Linksys EA6900 v1.0 Router Firmware 1.1.42.161129.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
