Installation:
- Download the firmware file to your PC desktop from your local D-Link support Site.
- Using a web browser, enter the IP address of your camera.
- Use a browser to log into the camera web interface.
- Navigate to: MAINTENANCE > Firmware Upgrade.
- Click Browse... (select the firmware file previously saved to your desktop, the file path will be displayed on the field).
- Upgrade the firmware by clicking on Upload and wait for the timer to run down.
Notes:
- Please save the Configuration Settings File prior to upgrading firmware.
- If the firmware file is compressed (e.g. zip extension), uncompress the firmware file prior to upgrading.
- When applicable, Do not upgrade firmware via a wireless connection as a network disruption can render your camera unusable.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
