This package provides the ISO image file of UEFI BIOS which is compatible with CD/DVD writing software to create the CD/DVD for the UEFI BIOS update. Hereafter the CD/DVD for the UEFI BIOS update is called as "BIOS Update CD".
The BIOS Update CD can boot the computer disregarding the operating systems and update the UEFI BIOS (including system programs and Embedded Controller program) stored in the ThinkPad computers to fix problems, add new functions, or expand functions.

Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the computer might fail to start up when the Intel Rapid Start Technology optoin was set to Enabled in ThinkPad Setup and a partition on the hard disk or SSD was modified.
- Fixed an issue where the system might be failed to remote boot.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
