Today, Nikon has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its Z 50 digital camera model, namely version 1.11, which adds support for the Fn2 button present on some lenses thus improving the overall usability once more..

Considering the improvement mentioned above, if this issue has bothered you in the past and consider fixing it (by upgrading your device), first check your camera’s current firmware and make sure it’s not either newer or matching the present update, and only afterward save the downloadable archive.

Moreover, know that the producer has provided two files: one targeted at both 32- and 64-bit variants of Windows Vista, 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, and the other compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8 and later platforms.

That said, run the downloadable package to extract the .bin file, transfer it onto a formatted memory card, and insert the SD card into the appropriate slot. Now, go to SETUP MENU > Firmware version, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the firmware update. Once finished, check the camera’s firmware version to ensure the process has been successful.

With this in mind, download Nikon Z 50 Camera Firmware 1.11, carefully apply it on your device to benefit from all these changes, and constantly check our website constantly to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
