NVIDIA has just rolled out its new 512.15 RTX/Quadro graphics driver that adds support for the RTX A5500, RTX A4000H, RTX A5500, RTX A4500, RTX A3000 12GB, RTX A2000 8GB, RTX A1000, RTX A500, and T600 GPUs.

Besides these additions, the current update provides improvements when it comes to app performance, API interoperability, and application power management, resolves Adobe Media Encoder crashes (due to out-of-memory error), and fixes Optimus profile to run on dGPU by default.

Finally, the 512.15 release corrects Enscape shadow rendering, removes Zerolight flickering encountered due to background shader processing, makes sure CUDA and OpenCL kernel return correct results, and includes other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the producer has provided downloadable packages targeted at the 64-bit variant of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, both desktop or notebook configurations, as well as for Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 platforms (desktops only).

With this in mind, save the proper one for your device, run it, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the installation, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once completed, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task is not requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.
