Microsoft has rolled out new cumulative firmware and drivers packs targeted at its Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book tablets, namely the May and April 2020 updates, respectively, which improve connection stability and enable support for new products.

In addition to that, the current release installs Intel iCLS Client Extension (1914.13.0.1063), Intel ICLS Client Software devices (1.56.87.0), Intel MEI (1914.12.0.1256), Surface ME Firmware (11.8.70.3626), and Surface UEFI Firmware (109.3192.768.0) that addresses security updates and improves system stability.

Therefore, if you can make use of these changes or want your tablet to be up to date, you can apply this new update by using Microsoft’s Windows Update Service. However, bear in mind that through this method not all users receive the September pack at the same time.

If you don’t have the time to wait for your device to update itself automatically, you can also manually download, extract, and install all the drivers right now using the link below. Sill, don’t forget that this package is only compatible with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform.

Last but not least, after applying all packages, it would be a good idea to reboot your tablet manually (if not requested automatically), to ensure all changes take effect properly.

That said, download Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Tablet Firmware/Driver May 2020 or download Microsoft Surface Book Tablet Firmware/Driver April 2020, apply it on your device, and check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
