Sony has made available the download links for its new 9.50 system software update developed for PlayStation 4 gaming consoles, which adds Ukrainian language support and allows users to create an open party or a closed party (invite-only), as well as adjust voice chat volume for each player.

Therefore, if you want to enhance your console a little bit, or simply want it to be powered by the latest software version available, save the downloadable .PUP file (~469MB), create a “PS4/UPDATE” path onto a FAT32-formatted USB stick and transfer the firmware there.

Afterward, connect the drive, go to Settings > System Software Update, follow all instructions displayed on-screen, and apply the new firmware version on your console without erasing any user data or modifying settings.

As for the re-installation package (~1GB), this file applies a clean 9.50 software and deletes all users, data, settings, and any other files found on the console.

In addition to that, to initiate the installation you must completely turn off your PS4, connect the stick, power the console back on, and select the “Initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)” option. The USB drive must be prepared as highlighted above.

That said, download Sony PlayStation 4 Firmware 9.50, apply it, and regularly check our website to be up to speed with the latest releases.
