The new versions speed up BIOS update process via M-Flash

MSI has made available new BIOS versions developed for some of its Intel X99 chipset-based motherboards, which speed up the BIOS update process when using the M-Flash method and improve NVME, memory, and Broadwell-E CPU compatibility.

In addition to that, the devices’ OC Genie won’t have problems working properly when using Broadwell-E CPU, while Intel’s S3 issue encountered with SSD 750 models has been resolved.

When it comes to the compatible motherboards, know that MSI has provided BIOS 1.B, 2.3, and H.E targeted at its X99S XPOWER AC, X99A Godlike Gaming, and X99A Gaming 7 devices, respectively, as well as a 3.4 BIOS update suitable for the X99A Gaming 9 ACK model.

Now, if you intend to apply this release, save and unzip the appropriate package for your board, copy the content onto an empty USB drive, and reboot your computer. Afterwards, enter the BIOS setup menu, select the M-Flash option, and choose “Select one file to update BIOS and ME.”

Finally, navigate to the BIOS file and select it, hit “Enter,” and make sure the removable USB stick isn’t disconnected during the installation process. Once finished, simply press the “Delete” key, and make sure the upgrade has been successful.

That said, from the links below, follow the one that best describes your motherboard model, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
