Just now, SIGMA has made available a new firmware package developed for its sd Quattro digital camera, namely version 1.02, aimed at fixing Auto Bracketing and SFD Mode, which didn’t work properly when Custom Mode was selected.

In addition to that, the present update improves AF focusing speed and accuracy, removes the bug that prevented the camera from turning off or going to sleep in certain situations, and fixes the camera freeze events encountered when the monitor switches to another display.

Moreover, SIGMA has also corrected the phenomenon where images would not appear when looking into the viewfinder with certain settings, and forced the camera to display selectable languages when all settings are reset to factory defaults with “Reset Settings.”

When it comes to installation, save the downloadable .bin file onto a formatted SD card (must be initialized using the camera), insert the memory card into the imaging unit, turn on the sd Quattro, and go to Menu > Set-up > Firmware Update.

Afterwards, simply press the Ok button, agree with the upgrade, and wait patiently as the device does its job; do not interrupt this process in any way, as this can lead to serious malfunctions. Once completed, the camera will automatically turn off.

That said, download SIGMA sd Quattro Camera Firmware 1.02, carefully apply it on your device, and enjoy these new changes, Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
