Just now, SIGMA has made available two new firmware packages developed for its sd Quattro and sd Quattro H digital cameras, namely version 1.09 and 1.05, respectively, aimed at improving the device’s operation in low temperatures.

In addition to that, the present update also resolves the inconsistent performance issues experienced by the viewfinder, main display, and shutter, as well as improves the image saving.

With this in mind, if you intend to upgrade to this version, first of all, make sure your camera isn’t already running this or a newer firmware, format a memory card using the sd Quattro camera, and save the downloadable .bin file.

Now, transfer the .BIN package to the card’s root directory, insert it into the camera while it’s off, turn the camera on, go to Menu > Setup Menu > Firmware Update, and initiate the installation by selecting “Yes” at the “Start Firmware update?” message.

Afterward, simply wait patiently as the device does its job; do not interrupt this process in any way, as this can lead to severe malfunctions. Once completed, the camera will automatically turn off.

That said, download SIGMA sd Quattro Firmware 1.09 or download SIGMA sd Quattro H Firmware 1.05, carefully apply it on your device, and enjoy these new changes, Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
