Today, SIGMA rolled out a new firmware package developed for its latest sd Quattro H digital camera model, namely version 1.01, which resolves the issue where images weren’t properly recorded if LOW image size was selected when processing RAW data X3F files.

In addition to that, the current release removes a bug that prevented Quick Preview from being displayed in the Electronic Viewfinder and fixes a rare problem where the camera would stop responding to any operation while shooting via SIGMA Capture Pro.

Last but not least, SIGMA’s team also managed to correct an improper behavior where the “・” symbol wasn’t displayed even when the setting was changed during shooting on Custom Mode C1~C3.

When it comes to installing this version, first check the currently installed firmware by going to Setup Menu > Information > Version, and see if it isn’t either newer or matching this release. If it isn’t, then save the downloadable .bin file onto a formatted SD memory card, and insert it into the appropriate card slot.

Now go to Setup Menu > Information > Firmware Update, select “Yes” at the “Start Firmware Update ?” message, and allow the sd Quattro H camera to do its job. Upon completion, a restart will be automatically performed announcing a successful upgrade.

Therefore, download SIGMA sd Quattro H Camera Firmware 1.01, take into account all aspects mentioned above, and apply the latest version to stay “updated one minute ago.”
