Sager has released the drivers required by its new NP8174 and NP8177 notebooks, which should provide improved performance and usability under the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating systems.

In terms of producers that provide the drivers, Intel contributes the device’s chipset packages, such the Management Engine (ME), Rapid Storage Technology (RST), RST Preinstall, and Chipset files, while Realtek enables the full functionality of the card reader and Ethernet cards.

In addition to that, Atheros, along with Intel, takes care of the device’s wireless capabilities (both Wireless LAN and Bluetooth features), Intel alone installs its HD Graphics build to improve the CPU’s gaming performance, while NVIDIA enables the dedicated graphics card.

Last but not least, the notebooks also benefit from two Audio packages developed by Realtek and Creative, a Touchpad driver provided by Synaptics, as well as a Wireless Display (WiDi) file made available by Intel.

When it comes to installation, to properly apply these drivers, just save and extract the files, run the available setups one at a time, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once all files are applied, don’t forget to perform a reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.

With this in mind, if you own this device, download Sager NP8174 Drivers or download Sager NP8177 Drivers, apply them, and check back our website to be aware when a newer version is available for download.
