The new update improves performance for Devil May Cry 5

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 19.3.1 Optional (18.50.27.01) package, which improves the gaming experience by up to 4% for Devil May Cry 5 title compared to the Radeon 19.2.3 release.

In addition to that, the current release resolves the mouse lag/system slowdown seen with multiple-display configurations that have one monitor switched off, and make sure Radeon WattMan settings changes apply correctly for AMD Radeon VII.

Moreover, this update fixes a compatibility issue for Acer KG251Q displays that encounter a black screen when connected via DisplayPort and enabled at 240hz, as well as for video playback (when dragging Movies and TV apps to an HDR enabled display).

However, AMD’s 19.3.1 version might still experience a few issues with Radeon VII and Vega cards, Radeon WattMan, Radeon Overlay, Rainbow Six Siege title, and other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 or 10 operating systems.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your computer, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 19.3.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
