NVIDIA has rolled out a new Quadro graphics driver compatible with several of its GPU models, namely version R450 U1 (451.48) WHQL, which adds support for CUDA 11.0, Windows 10 Version 2004 (May 2020 Update), Hardware Scheduling and more.

Specifically speaking, the current release is validated against the latest GPU-accelerated creative app releases, adds support for DirectX 12 Ultimate (supports DirectX Raytracing 1.1, Variable Rate Shading, Mesh Shaders, and Sampler Feedback), and implements various security updates for driver components.

In addition to that, NVIDIA has managed to add hardware encoding using NVIDIA Encoder for Premiere Pro, include AI to Blender Cycles and Substance Alchemist, increase GPU-accelerated brush engines, and implements several other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the producer has provided 2 downloadable packages targeted at the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating systems, either desktop or notebook configurations, as well as another 2 files for Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019 platforms (desktops only).

Bear in mind that, for Windows 10 users, there are two packages available: a DCH (Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps) and a Standard file. To see what executable is ok for your configuration, locate Driver Type under the System Information menu in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
