Just now, PHOTTIX has rolled out new firmware packages developed for its Mitros+ and Indra500 TTL flashes and lights, which include support for Odin II and wireless functionalities while also adding more useful changes.

To be clear about the new versions, the producer has provided versions 1.16, 2.03, and 2.12 targeted at Mitros+ TTL Flashes for Nikon, Sony, and Canon, respectively, as well as firmware 1.07 suitable for its Indra500 TTL Studio Light.

When it comes to changes, PHOTTIX’s Mitros+ for Sony and Indra500 receive Odin II support while the latter unit also gets Wireless functionality for Odin I and II (for Sony only).

In addition to that, the producer fixes the triggering issue for Mitros+ for Canon spotted when Channel 5 to 32 in Odin RX mode was used. However, this problem was encountered only after the TTL Flash was switched off for a period of time then turned back on.

Last but not least, PHOTTIX also resolves an issue that affected Strato II RX mode, where the Mitros+ TTL Flash for Nikon was unable to fire after changing channels.

As for installation, simply save and unzip the appropriate archive for your product, locate and open the update instructions, and follow them. Do not interrupt the upgrade process in any way, as this can lead to various malfunctions.
