AMD has released a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition graphics driver, namely version 21.5.2, which includes support for open-world game Days Gone, Microsoft DirectX 12 Agility SDK, and Shader Model 6.6.

In addition to that, the developer fixed Cyberpunk 2077 shadow corruptions seen when ray tracing is enabled on Radeon RX 6000 GPUs and the FPS logging on Ryzen Mobile 4000 and Mobile 5000 series.

If applied, the current update will make sure Radeon Software won’t crash when the Record & Stream tab is in use and a display is hot-plugged, Ryzen Master buttons (download and launch) work properly, and AMD Link’s Stream Optimization doesn’t encounter any issues.

However, AMD’s new 21.5.2 package might carry certain issues when it comes to Resident Evil Village title, Radeon VII and RX Vega graphics cards, and other small bugs as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to installation, remember that there are two downloadable files compatible with the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 (version 21.10.03.08) and Windows 7 (version 21.09.03.08) platforms, as well as one “Auto-Detect and Install” utility that detects your configuration and guides you forward.

Last but not least, take into account that installing the packages on platforms other than the ones mentioned above (shouldn’t work and) might lead to malfunctions and other problems. Also, after a proper installation, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.

That said, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Graphics Driver 21.5.2, take into account all aspects as mentioned above, and check back with our website as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
