NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new STUDIO graphics driver, namely version 456.38, which promises to provide optimal support for D5 Render, SheenCity Mars, and the new NVIDIA Broadcast App.

In addition to that, NVIDIA’s current build includes support for the new GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 GPUs, CUDA 11.1, and new G-SYNC compatible monitors, fixes frame rate drops seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and removes Forza Horizon 4 stuttering.

Besides these improvements, this update also makes sure objects do not flicker in World of Warcraft, deals with Minecraft Java Edition and Marvel's Avengers crashes, and implements other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, version 456.38 is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations that are powered by Microsoft’s Windows 10 platforms (only for 64-bit architectures).

Therefore, if you intend to apply this package, save the proper one for your device, run it, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the installation, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.
