NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver, namely 377.14 beta, which fixes a few bugs regarding SPIR-V compiler and implements support for Vulkan’s 1.0.42.1 loader.

When it comes to supported GPUs, this release is valid for certain models of NVIDIA’s Quadro, GeForce 1000, GeForce 900, GeForce 700, and GeForce 600 lineup, as well as for some Quadro Notebook and GeForce 900M, 800M, 700M, and 600M series graphics cards.

As for the operating systems, the current update is compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms. Do not try applying on other configurations as this can lead to malfunctions.

In terms of installation, first ensure your GPU model is supported by this release, save the appropriate package compatible with your operating system, run it, and wait for the wizard to extract all files required for the upgrade.

Afterward, simply follow all on-screen instructions for a complete and successful installation. Also, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly.
