NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new version of its RTX/Quadro graphics driver, namely build 528.49 (R525 U5), which adds the latest performance improvements, bug fixes, and driver enhancements.

If applied, Production Branch package will resolve Adobe Bridge app crash events when previewing photos, make sure Adobe Photoshop app won’t freeze anymore (introduced in driver version 528.02), and fix Lumion’s faulty output with bindless rendering/lighting.

In addition to that, this update decreases Derivative TouchDesigner performance degradation in Vulkan with large shaders, as well as the Quatum3D performance degradation with multiple MantisServers observed when MantisClient window is in focus.

When it comes to compatibility, the available files are targeted at the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 and 11 operating systems (both desktop and notebooks), as well as at the Windows Server 2019 and Server 2022 platforms (only for desktops).

Therefore, if you want to upgrade, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that all problems are avoided.

That said, download NVIDIA RTX/Quadro Graphics Driver 528.49, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
