NVIDIA has made available the December STUDIO graphics driver, namely the 472.84 update package, which provides optimal support for the latest creative applications including Blender 3.0, NVIDIA Omniverse, and Isotropix Clarisse.

In addition to that, the present release also includes support for Cyberlink PowerDirector, Blackmagic's DaVinci Resolve, BorisFX Sapphire, and JangaFX Embergen, and resolves the dark flickering seen in Maxon C4D.

Besides these changes, version 472.84 fixes the OptiX crash events and denoiser alpha channel artifacts (for Redshift), but might still encounter issues with Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (graphical artifacts) and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (crash when players drive through water).

In terms of compatibility, the four available files are only suitable for the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 and 11 operating systems, and can be used on either desktop and notebook configurations.

However, take into account that there are two variants of these packages: one DCH (Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps) and one Standard file. To see what is ok for your configuration, locate Driver Type under the System Information menu in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

That said, download NVIDIA STUDIO Graphics Driver 472.84, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
