The release improves performance for Red Dead Redemption 2

NVIDIA has announced the availability of its new 441.12 GeForce Game Ready Graphics driver that provides the latest performance optimizations, profiles, and bug fixes for Red Dead Redemption 2, and includes optimizations for Need for Speed Heat and Borderlands 3 titles.

The producer promises to deliver the best gaming experience for Red Dead Redemption 2, one of the 2018’s best sellers, which is now launching a PC edition with outstanding graphics, new content, and several optimizations and enhancements.

To get the best out of this title, NVIDIA recommends using a 3840x2160 (Medium-High), resolution for its GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, the 2560x1440 (High) for the RTX 2070 SUPER, RTX 2080 SUPER, and RTX 2080 Ti cards, or the popular 1920x1080 (High) setting for RTX 2060 GPUs or better.

As announced a couple of months back, NVIDIA now adds G-SYNC Compatible support to LG’s big-screen 2019 4K C9, E9, and B9 OLED TVs, which should provide a superior gaming experience without tearing, stuttering, or VSync input lag.

With the addition of LG’s OLED55B9PUA, OLED65B9PUA, OLED55C9PUA, OLED65C9PUA, OLED77C9PUB, OLED55E9PUA, and OLED65E9PUA 4K OLED TVs, NVIDIA’s release is now compatible with more than 55 G-SYNC displays.

In addition to that, build 441.12 adds security updates for driver components and resolves the Super Robot Wars V game crashes, but might still encounter Grand Theft Auto V game crashes, and issues with maximizing Battlefield V to full-screen after being minimized to the taskbar (when G-SYNC and HDR are enabled).

In terms of compatibility, the producer has provided several downloadable packages targeted at the 64-bit variant of Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, both desktop or notebook configurations.

With this in mind, if you intend to apply this package, save the proper one for your device, run it, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the installation, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once completed, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task is not requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 441.12, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
