NVIDIA has made available a new version of its Quadro graphics driver, namely 390.77 (R390 U2), which updates nView Desktop Manager to 148.92 and resolves the black shadows seen around stereo images when running OpenGL application on Quadro 4000M cards

Regarding compatibility, version 390.77 is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations that are running one of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 platforms, either 32- or 64-bit architectures.

Moreover, the producer has also provided additional files targeted at Windows Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, Server 2012 R2, and Server 2016 operating systems. However, these packages are aimed only at desktops.

Therefore, if you intend to apply this release, first ensure your GPU model is supported, save the proper executable for your device, run it, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the installation. Afterward, just follow the instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Last but not least, once completed, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, make sure to carry it out manually to avoid any unwanted problems.
