NVIDIA has made available a new GeForce Graphics Vulkan Driver, namely driver version 382.71 Beta, which comes only a few days after the 382.68 Beta Vulkan Update and adds various performance improvements and bug fixes.

In terms of supported platforms, this new release is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations powered by Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems (either 32- or 64-bit variants). Moreover, the producer has also provided two downloadable files compatible with Linux OSes.

Considering these aspects, do not try applying the available files on other platforms, as this can lead to various malfunctions. Also, make sure your computer’s hardware (the GPU model) is supported by this release.

As for installation, save the package that is designed for your OS, close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade, run the downloaded file, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the update, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen.

Last but not least, once the upgrade has finished, it would be a good idea to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, however, make sure to carry it out manually so that no problems appear.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Vulkan Driver 382.71 Beta, apply it on your device, and enjoy your newly-improved system. Also, check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
