The new update adds support for the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

NVIDIA has made available a new version of its GeForce Graphics driver, namely 378.78, which improves the gaming experience for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and adds support for GeForce GTX 1080 Ti card.

In addition to that, the current update includes DirectX 12 optimizations that increase performance for a variety of titles, resolves blue screen crashes encountered on GeForce 1050 Ti cards, and fixes some NvFBC H.264 encode errors.

Moreover, version 378.78 also solves the driver errors occurring when trying to compute with GPUGrid CUDA application or PrimeGrid Genefer OpenCL tools, as well as a few other issues as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, the producer has provided several downloadable files suitable for each 32- and 64-bit architecture of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Also, the packages can be installed on both desktop and notebook configurations that include a supported GPU model.
