The driver release adds security updates for components

NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new version of its Quadro graphics driver, namely build 442.74 (440 U7), which resolves crashes and other issues encountered when using Enscape application, and fixes the error seen when playing a Neat Video in DaVinci Resolve.

In addition to that, version 442.74 makes sure Mosaic app doesn’t encounter corruptions (when using overlap and warp and blend in full-screen stereo), corrects Width/Height coordinates when in Portrait mode, and fixes Arnold app crash events rendering with Arnold plugin.

In terms of compatibility, the available files are suitable for the 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system (both desktop and notebooks), as well as for the Windows Server 2012 R2, Server 2016, and Server 2019 platforms (only for desktops).

As for the Windows 10 packages, take into account that these packages are as follows: one DCH (Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps) and one Standard file. To see what is ok for your configuration, locate Driver Type under the System Information menu in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Therefore, if you want to upgrade, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.

In addition to that, make sure not to try installing this hotfix release on other platforms, as this might lead to various malfunctions, even if they might seem to work at first.

That said, download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 442.74, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
