NVIDIA has announced the availability of its new 342.00 (21.21.13.4200) legacy GeForce and Quadro graphics packages, which implement certain security updates for driver components of Tesla architecture class GPUs.

In terms of compatibility, the available files are suitable for either 32- or 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems, for both desktop and notebook configurations.

However, bear in mind that none of the downloadable packages can be applied to notebook systems that are running under Windows Vista OSes. Also, take into account that desktops also benefit from Quadro files developed for Windows Server 2008 64, 2008 R2 64, 2012, and 2012 R2 64.

With this in mind, to upgrade your device to version 342.00, save the appropriate driver for your configuration, close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade, run the downloaded executable, and wait for all files required to be extracted.

Afterward, simply follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade. Also, once finished, make sure to reboot your system to allow all changes to take effect; if this task isn’t requested automatically, however, it would be a good idea to perform it manually.

That said, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 342.00 or download NVIDIA Quadro Graphics Driver 342.00, install it, and constantly check our website to be aware when the next version is available for download.
