NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new GeForce graphics driver, namely version 425.11 hotfix, which removes a bug that caused Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands game to crash when accessing the inventory menu.

In addition to that, the 425.11 build also resolves the graphics corruption seen in games on ASUS ROG Strix GL702VS notebooks (introduced in driver 419.35), as well as the random Ark Survival Evolved crashes encountered with GeForce RTX 20 series GPUs.

Regarding compatibility, the present release is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations, but only the ones running under a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. Also, take into account that there are two available packages: one standard and one DCH driver.

Bear in mind that trying to install NVIDIA’s 425.11 hotfix release on OSes other than the ones above isn’t recommended and might cause various malfunctions, even if it might seem to work.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically by the wizard, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually so that any possible problems are avoided.
