NVIDIA has pushed out a new GeForce graphics driver targeted at several of its GPU models, namely the 398.82 update, which is a Game Ready driver that improves the gaming experience when playing World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth or Monster Hunter: World titles.

In addition to that, the release resolves the ghosting spotted in Dark Souls Remastered when using in-game temporal anti-aliasing, as well as the severe color corruption encountered in World of Warcraft: Legion when launching the game with Windows HDR enabled.

Moreover, NVIDIA’s team managed to remove the black textures seen in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, fix the resource creation leak events encountered with Unreal Engine 4 games, and make sure no graphical effects are missing in Wolfenstein II.

Last but not least, version 398.82 corrects the missing G-SYNC link in the NVIDIA Control Panel, fixes the Surround hotkeys, ensures NVIDIA Freestyle works in Dead by Daylight, and implements other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, besides a supported GPU, your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, or 10 operating systems. Also, bear in mind that there is a separate package for users who are running Windows 7 64-bit on a TITAN V card.

As for installation, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, download NVIDIA GeForce Graphics Driver 398.82, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
