NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new GeForce Graphics driver, namely the 397.55 hotfix version, which adds support for Microsoft’s Surface Book notebooks and manages to resolve Netflix playback occasional stutter.

In addition to that, this update also makes sure the driver is not removed when leaving the PC idle for an extended period (only on Windows 10), as well as no Code 43 error is reported by Device Manager on a few GTX 1060 cards models,

When it comes to compatibility, the producer has provided two packages targeted at both desktop and notebook configurations, but only suitable for the 64-bit variants of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 platforms.

As for installation, first of all, make sure to save the package that is specifically designed to work with your system configuration, and close all programs and processes that might interfere with the upgrade.

Now, run the downloaded executable, wait as the wizard extracts all files required for the update, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful installation.
