NVIDIA has announced the availability of its new 460.89 STUDIO graphics update that adds support for the producer’s RTX A6000 GPU model, finalized Vulkan Ray Tracing extensions, CUDA 11.2, as well as implements other changes.

Specifically speaking, this release removes the black strip seen in Forza Motorsport 7, adds Color Accuracy Mode and Background Application Max Frame Rate controls in the Control Panel, and includes other improvements as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Moreover, take into account that NVIDIA’s December Studio update provides optimal support for creative applications such as Chaos Vantage, OctaneRender 2020.2, V-Ray 5 Benchmark, Boris FX Sapphire 2021, Unreal Engine 4.26, and the NVIDIA Omniverse Open Beta.

In terms of compatibility, the 460.89 version is targeted at both desktop and notebook configurations running Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system (only for 64-bit architectures). Also, know that there are two files available for each configuration: one DCH and one Standard executable.

Therefore, if you want to make use of this update, save and run the appropriate driver for your device, follow all instructions displayed on the screen, and make sure to give the wizard permission to perform a system reboot so that all changes can take effect properly.
