Today, Nikon has rolled out a new firmware package compatible with its D500 and D3400 digital cameras, namely version 1.10, which adds support for the iOS version of SnapBridge and improves some help text.

In addition to that, the D500 model also receives some fixes regarding images that weren’t displayed properly if playback zoom was used, and the focus point that wouldn’t light when shutter-release button was pressed halfway after standby timer expired.

Moreover, Nikon makes sure that its D500 camera won’t stop responding if a command dial is used in custom settings menu. Also, images taken with this device and an additional flash won’t turn out underexposed in certain settings.

As for installation, save and run the appropriate file for your computer OS (available for both Windows and Mac OS X platforms), format an SD memory card using the camera, and transfer the firmware folder on it.

Now, make sure your camera isn’t connected to any computer or external adapter and that it’s battery is fully charged, insert the memory card, go to the Firmware Version section, and follow all instructions displayed on-screen.

That said, download Nikon D3400 Camera Firmware 1.10 or download Nikon D500 Camera Firmware 1.10, apply it on your device, and constantly check our website to be aware when a newer version is available for your unit.
