AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 22.3.1 (21.50.02.01) package, which includes support for Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) Technology, as well as Radeon Image Sharpening (RIS).

In addition to that, the current release updates AMD’s Link Play feature that allows (up to four) users to connect to an AMD Radeon graphics-powered PC from an Android- or Windows-based PC, phone, tablet or TV to play local multiplayer games.

Moreover, the 22.3.1 version provides users with a clearer snapshot regarding key features when they launch a game, fixes visual artifacts observed in It Takes Two title, lowers load times when playing Forza Horizon 5 (when Ray Tracing is enabled), and makes sure windows transparency aero effect is available.

In terms of known issues, AMD’s update might lead to a system hang if Radeon Super Resolution is used on 2560x1600 resolution displays, a black screen if Enhanced Sync is enabled, or other problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

Regarding compatibility, the downloadable file is suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running under one of Microsoft’s Windows 10 or 11 OSes (only 64-bit architectures).

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin Graphics Driver 22.3.1, run it, wait for all files required to be made available, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
