AMD has just released a new version of its Radeon Software Crimson Edition Graphics driver, namely the 16.6.2 hotfix, which adds support for Radeon RX 480 GPU and allows users to adjust their display image scaling on HDMI connected monitors.

In addition to that, the producer allows setting the screen color temperature as well as toggling global Crossfire support, adds a new AMD Crossfire profile for World Of Tanks, and implements a brand new utility (Radeon WattMan), which gives users better control over their graphics GPUs.

When it comes to fixes, the present update resolves various flickering events spotted in AMD Crossfire mode configurations while playing Hitman, Heroes of the Storm, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Star Wars Battlefront.

Moreover, AMD also fixes a minor shuttering observed in the same configurations when playing Elite Dangerous, as well as certain flash events encountered on some web browsers when using Netflix.

In terms of compatibility, besides the supported GPU list highlighted in the Release Notes below, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems (there is a file for each combination),

Therefore, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Crimson Graphics Driver 16.6.2 Hotfix, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
