AMD has rolled out a new version of its Radeon Pro Adrenalin Edition Graphics driver, namely the 18.4.1 beta package, which implements beta support for Microsoft’s Windows 10 April 2018 Update operating systems (should be considered “as is”).

This 18.4.1 update (version 18.10.01.01) also supports OpenGL 4.5, OpenCL 2.0, DirectX 12, and Vulkan 1.0 APIs, but can encounter issues with some Viewport Draw modes and gray patches in Autodesk Maya 2017/2018.

The release might still experience issues with auto and passive Stereo, PTC CREO, Siemens Femap (specific models), geometry shader in MAXON Cinema4D, as well as with Nuke benchmark on AMD FirePro W8100 and AMD FirePro W9100.

In terms of compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 32- or 64-bit variant of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 operating systems (Windows 8.1 isn't supported anymore).

With this in mind, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Therefore, if you consider applying this release, download AMD FirePro/Radeon Pro Graphics Driver 18.4.1 Beta, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
