14 DAY TRIAL // Just now, Dovado has rolled out a new firmware package targeted at its Tiny AC and Pro router models, namely version 8.4.1, which allows SSID with “<” and ”>” characters, and adds vertical scrollbar on DHCP and HOST lists.
In addition to that, the update fixes the problem with config being emailed when new live firmware is available and removes the bug where Remote Management accidentally became enabled if Home Automation was manually enabled (only for TINY AC).
If you have been experiencing this issue or simply want your router to run the latest firmware build, save and unzip the downloadable archive for your model, and log into its dashboard (username and password are required).
Afterwards, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and allow the router to do its job (it takes about 3 minutes to complete).
