The update adds vertical scrollbar on DHCP and HOST lists

Just now, Dovado has rolled out a new firmware package targeted at its Tiny AC and Pro router models, namely version 8.4.1, which allows SSID with “<” and ”>” characters, and adds vertical scrollbar on DHCP and HOST lists.

In addition to that, the update fixes the problem with config being emailed when new live firmware is available and removes the bug where Remote Management accidentally became enabled if Home Automation was manually enabled (only for TINY AC).

If you have been experiencing this issue or simply want your router to run the latest firmware build, save and unzip the downloadable archive for your model, and log into its dashboard (username and password are required).

Afterwards, go to Upgrade > HTTP Upgrade, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly extracted .bin file, hit “Start HTTP Upgrade,” and allow the router to do its job (it takes about 3 minutes to complete).

Bear in mind that you mustn’t power off, use any of the router’s buttons, or interrupt the installation process in any way, as this will cause an update failure that can lead to serious device malfunctions, and can even render the device unusable.

Upon completion, it would be a good idea to check the currently applied firmware version in order to make sure that the upgrade has been successful. Doing so will ensure that all changes have taken effect properly.

With this in mind, download DOVADO Tiny AC Router Firmware 8.4.1 or download DOVADO Pro Router Firmware 8.4.1 take into account all the aforementioned aspects, and apply the latest version on your router.
