AsusWrt-Merlin has rolled out a newer version of its custom firmware packages, namely build 380.65.4, which fixes the LAN and Wireless LAN issues encountered with RT-AC3200 routers due to incorrect GMAC state checks.

In addition to that, the present update also implements a workaround spotted with some device models where they wouldn’t be able to start one of their wifi radio, partly because of the hardware design.

When it comes to compatible routers, this release is suitable for ASUS’ RT-N66U (B1, R, W), RT-AC88U, RT-AC87 (R, U), RT-AC68 (P, R,W ,U), RT-AC66 (W, U, R), RT-AC56 (R, U, S), RT-AC5300, RT-AC3200, and RT-AC3100 wireless routers.

In terms of installation, just save and unzip the appropriate archive for your model, establish a wired connection between the router and your computer, and go to Advanced Settings > Administration > Firmware Upgrade.

Now, click on the “Choose File” button near the “New Firmware File” section, select the newly extracted .trx file, hit “Upload,” and wait for your router to do its job. Bear in mind that interrupting this process can result in serious device malfunctions.

That said, download AsusWrt-Merlin Router Firmware 380.65.4 for your specific device, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay informed when newer versions are available for your device.
