The firmware release fixes issues with FTP and HTTP port

Just now, NETGEAR has rolled out a new firmware package developed for its DGND3700v2 router models, namely version 1.1.00.26, which removes a bug that prevented FTP and HTTP ports from being set in the USB advanced setting page.

In addition to that, this release fixes the issue where the “Add keyword” button does not work in blocked sites, doesn’t allow an invalid value for email server address to be set in Email page, and corrects the apply button in remote management.

Moreover, NETGEAR’s firmware also removes several bugs that prevented message pops or warnings from being displayed in certain situations, and resolves the Wireless and Guest management page setting that couldn’t be modified.

If version 1.1.00.26 is applied, the router won’t show newly added and edited rules as abnormal or retain invalid values (not digital values, such as “w”) for the bandwidth in QoS setup page.

As for installation, save and unzip the downloadable archive, establish a wired connection between your router and a computer, log into its dashboard, and go to Maintenance > Router Upgrade.

Afterwards, click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the newly unzipped .img file, click “Upload,” and wait for your router to do its job. Also, make sure not to reboot/power off either the router or the computer, remove the Ethernet cable, or interrupt the process in any way.

With this in mind, download NETGEAR DGND3700v2 Firmware 1.1.00.26, and carefully apply it on your wireless unit. Also, check our website as often as possible in order to be aware when newer versions are available for your device.
