14 DAY TRIAL // MSI has recently outed its Intel Skylake 100 series motherboards that included the Z170, H170, and B150 lineup, and now it has announced the availability of the new Intel H110 Chipset boards.
In order to be clear, this series is formed by MSI’s H110M PRO-D, H110M PRO-VH, H110M PRO-VD, and H110M PRO-VD D3 motherboard models.
As for compatibility, the aforementioned devices, as well as their drivers, are compatible with both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems.
When it comes to the downloadable files, most of these packages are provided and developed by Intel, such as the Serial IO, Chipset, Management Engine (ME), USB 3.0, and Graphics drivers, as well as its Extreme Tuning utility (XTU) that allows configuring the boards the way you want.
However, take into account that the USB drivers are only supported on Windows 7 and 8.1 (64-bit), the Serial IO package is compatible only with the 64-bit variants of Windows 8.1 and 10, and the Graphics files are to be used on Windows 7 and the 64-bit architectures of Windows 8.1 and 10.
Last but not least, the boards also benefit from two Realtek drivers that ensure the well-functioning of the audio feature and the Ethernet connections.
