Microsoft has made available the download link for its November 17, 2016, cumulative firmware and driver update package developed for its Surface Book device, which improves the unit’s system stability through a new NVIDIA GeForce GPU (21.21.13.6961) driver.

In addition to that, the present update package also installs the 90.1380.768.0 Surface UEFI version that improves stability once more, as well as a new Intel Precise Touch Device driver, namely version 1.2.0.70, which reduces false touch events when the device is closed.

When it comes to applying this release, the task can be performed either automatically through Microsoft’s Windows Update service or manually by downloading and installing the update packages.

However, take into account that via the Windows Update service, every update is provided to customers in stages, which means that you might not receive it right now. Still, all Surface devices will get this update at some point.

On the other hand, if you don’t have the time to wait, you can always manually download, extract, and install all the drivers using the link below. Also, after applying all packages, don’t forget to reboot your tablet to ensure all changes take effect properly.
