Intel has just made available Wireless Bluetooth version 21.20.0, which consists of several packages recommended for end-customers (such as home users), as well as for IT administrators of large corporations, universities, and other similar organizations.

In terms of changes, this release makes sure AirPods do not disconnect after several minutes of Hand Free playback, Skype voice doesn’t drop when Bluetooth LE mouse is connected along with Bluetooth headphone, and Bluetooth connection isn’t lost after resuming from Sleep.

Moreover, Intel removes certain bugs that displayed a Yellow Bang in Device Manager after more than 10 hours in sleep state, adds general stability improvements and optimizations, and includes other optimizations as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

When it comes to compatibility, Intel’s release is suitable for both 32- and 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. There are 6 executables and 6 zip files (one for each compatible OS and bit architecture) that can be used by home users and IT administrators, respectively.

In addition to that, Intel has also provided its IT administrators with a zip archive that includes all files required for installing the Wireless Bluetooth software on all of the aforementioned compatible platforms.
