Intel has rolled out its latest generic graphics driver, namely version 27.20.100.8783, which is basically the 1st unified driver supporting the 11th Generation Core CPUs with Iris Xe graphics (and earlier generations).

Specifically speaking, Intel’s Iris Xe Graphics now receives several media and display enhancements, sampler feedback support, Graphics Profile Guided Optimization for Compute Shader SIMD, as well as Turbo Technology Power and Performance Enhancements.

In addition to that, the 8783 build also improves the overall stability in games such as Rogue Company and Star Wars Squadrons, and resolves the intermittent Resident Evil 3 (DX12) crashes/hangs seen 10th Generation Intel Core processors configurations.

However, the current release might still encounter issues with Red Dead Redemption 2 (Vulkan), Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint (DX11), Horizon Zero Dawn (DX12), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (DX12), and other games as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the downloadable files are suitable only for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating system. Do not try installing this update on other OSes even if it might seem to work at first, as this can lead to various malfunctions.

Therefore, if you want to install build 8783, make sure this release supports your system configuration, save and run the available setup package (either zip or exe), and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Moreover, once finished, perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually.

That said, download Intel Graphics Driver 27.20.100.8783 for Windows 10 DCH 64-bit, apply it on your system, and check back with us as often as possible to stay up to speed with the latest releases.
